What is the best way to book an appointment?
It is best to fill out the contact form on my website. After filling out the contact form, please email any references to me at: SameeJTattoos.com.
How much will my tattoo cost?
I offer three appointment durations. My rate is $175/hr, but that fluctuates to allow price breaks for larger sessions.
Full days for large scale projects are priced at or around $1,000. If you have a full day session, you will be my only client for the day, and we will work as long as we both can/need to in order to complete the section or piece that we are working on that day.
Half days for medium sized projects are priced at or around $600.
Short sessions are priced at or around $350.
My schedule is set up this way to give me more consistency with start times. Think of these price points as price ceilings for your session.
I will always consider the amount of time your piece takes me to complete and charge accordingly.
What should I know in regards to aftercare?
I use Second Skin to heal all tattoos, regardless of size, unless there is a known allergy or preference. This product is applied at the end of the tattoo session, and is not an additional charge.
Can I see my design before the appointment?
I don’t send out designs before the scheduled appointment, although I do offer consultations as needed. It is encouraged to be as specific as possible during the inquiry process. If you have trouble putting your ideas into words, you can email a sketch and/or references to further communicate your vision. There is time set aside during appointments in case minor changes need to be made to the design.
What should I know on the day of my appointment?
It is best to show up for your appointment with a good night’s rest! It is crucial that you have a good meal before your appointment. Feel free to bring water, snacks, headphones, a book, phone charger, etc. to help make your experience more comfortable.
Bring your valid ID. (Must be government issued, with photo & birthdate)
You can park on the side of the building, and ring the doorbell upon arrival. Feel free to message when you arrive.
Cash is preferred, although I accept Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, or tap capable cards as well. I can send a digital invoice if preferred.
In addition to the electronic payments, square (the processor I use) allows you guys to check out using After-pay. If that is something you are interested in utilizing, don’t be afraid to mention it.
Other Policies:
I ask that clients bring only one guest to scheduled appointments, unless otherwise talked about beforehand. Please inform me ahead of time of any guests attending your appointment, so I can have seating available.
I do not offer free touch ups on single needle/fine line tattoos or tattoos on the fingers/feet. If a second pass is needed after 1 month of healing, the cost will be a minimum of $50, depending on the size of the area and time required.
If you change the concept of your tattoo on the date of your appointment, I may need to reschedule you to a different date depending on my schedule for the rest of that day.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, I may need to reschedule you to a different day, depending on my schedule for the rest of that day.
Multiple reschedules or cancellations may result in higher deposit or ending of the project. Deposits are non refundable & non transferable.
I understand that life happens, and I am very understanding & flexible. These policies are meant to foster mutual communication and respect for each other’s time. Please don’t ever be afraid to tell me if you are running late (if you can do so safely of course), something comes up, or if getting tattooed just isn’t in the cards at the moment. x
